SUROTRASH (N.) ‘sur-ro-trash   Latin American variant of the high-living, fashion-conscious Continental species of jetsetter known teasingly as “Eurotrash.”  Wealthy, flashy, flirtatious, ultra-social people from regions south (“sur,” in Spanish) of the United States, seen at  trendy nightclubs, buzzed-about restaurants, and high-end boutiques. (Also adj.) Usage:  Benny loved to go to clubs where Spanish pop played, women dressed provocatively, men wore cologne and shirts unbuttoned low, and everyone danced close up. He found the Surotrash vibe lively and sexy…muy caliente, in fact.
