SUROTRASH (N.) ‘sur-ro-trash   Latin American variant of the high-living, fashion-conscious Continental species of jetsetter known teasingly as “Eurotrash.”  Wealthy, flashy, flirtatious, ultra-social people from regions south (“sur,” in Spanish) of the United States, seen at  trendy nightclubs, buzzed-about restaurants, and high-end boutiques. (Also adj.) Usage:  Benny loved to go to clubs where Spanish pop played, women dressed provocatively, men wore cologne and shirts unbuttoned low, and everyone danced close up.
