CLUSTERFÊTE (N.) ‘klus-tur-fet  A day (or night) on which several (or more) events are scheduled simultaneously—parties, film premeres, galas, dinners, openings, talks, readings, concerts, barbecues, etc. Usage: Clementine was frustrated that so much was going on tonight. One of her friends had a book launch, another had a birthday party, there was a Black Eyed Peas concert in Central Park, a benefit she’d meant to go to, plus two rooftop barbecues. It would be impossible to go to them all. What a clusterfête!
