DISADFANTAGED (Adj.) dis-ad-‘fan-tujd  To be hindered professionally and socially by one’s ignorance of (or lack of interest in) sports and spectatorship, resulting in the inability to make small talk with colleagues, bosses, and peers. Usage: When Tim walked into the office, he found his colleagues clustered around the boss, chatting about Rory McIlroy. “Who’s she,” he asked. “He,” Gretchen said drily, “Is the 22-year-old Irishman who just won the U.S. Open.” “Sorry,” said Tim, “I don’t follow tennis.” Disadfantaged by his total lack of interest in sports, he had no idea why they all began to laugh.
