CAFOODLING (N.) ka-‘foo-duh-ling  The activity practiced by couples who feed one other in public, whether by licking the same ice cream cone, slipping oysters into one another’s mouths, or spoon-feeding each other entire meals—from salad to entrée to dessert. Also, (V.), cafoodle. Usage: After Walter jabbed Julie’s lip while feeding her fondue at Artisanal (a mis-aimed fork), they cut back on their cafoodling.
