WEATHERDITHER

(N.) ‘weh-thur- ‘dih-thur   Mass consternation over momentary spates of extremely unpleasant weather. (Not to be confused with anxiety over climate change.) Also may be used as (v.)  Usage: Trapped at home by sub-zero temperatures, Sean turned on the news for distraction, but found nothing but weatherdither about the “polar vortex” on every channel. Going to Facebook, he found more of the same-all his friends were weatherdithering, too.
