G.P. ASS (N.) djee-pee-‘ass  Someone who blindly follows the instructions of G.P.S. while driving, ignoring the evidence of his senses, and ends up hurtling down mountainsides, driving  into ditches, rivers, etc. Usage: “What are you doing?” Dustin shouted as Melanie drove the car into a mulchy track in a cornfield. “The G.P.S. says ‘Keep going and turn left in 1.1. mile,” she wailed.  ”Don’t be a G.P. ass—put on the brakes,” he  pleaded. “Can’t you see this isn’t a road?”
