HATECRASHER (N.) ‘hayt-krash-ur  An uninvited guest at an event whose presence upsets or annoys hosts or guests, particularly one who was intentionally not invited but who came anyway. Also (v.) hatecrash. Usage: Dinah’s back stiffened as she looked across the room and saw Neil walking into her party. He knew he wasn’t invited, he’d broken up with Rose by text two weeks ago, and Dinah had promised Rose he wouldn’t be there. Neil wasn’t only an insensitive jerk, he was an obnoxious hatecrasher.
